This
revolutionary design turns every head! Philippe Briand has
caused quite a stir in the yachting community with his Atoll
50. Specifically designed for warm climates she has
a cockpit-salon & galley up. Down below there are 6 double
cabins and 4 heads & showers, all spacious, comfortable
and well ventilated thanks to her beam carried to the transom
& state of the art design. The forward double cabins can
easily be converted by removing the centre partition into
1 huge double cabin.
The
spacious, shaded cockpit-salon seats 12 or more with long,
comfy cushioned sofas & foldaway dining tables. The ceiling
slides back so you can dine under the stars! She has a huge
flat swim step (with fresh water shower) leading into the
water, providing easy access for swimming and use of the dinghy.
The galley is forward of the cockpit-salon, surrounded by
windows it is both breezy and light. A huge fridge and freezer
and plenty of counter & cupboard space allow you to provision
for large numbers with no problem.
Forward
there is a large deck for sunning and lounging. There is a
huge coach roof over the galley, which is perfect for relaxing
under the shade of the sails.
Her
twin wheels allow for easy manoeuvring and excellent visibility
from the helm. She has autopilot, depth and speed at the helms.
The genoa sheets and mainsheet are worked easily from the
helms or cockpit. The main halyard & reefing lines are
at the mast. Sailing is stable and smooth. Her thoughtful
owner has provided safety nets around the lifelines for extra
peace of mind when sailing with children.
Leading
from the salon-cockpit forward there are steps down to 4 double
cabins, 2 forward (which easily convert into 1 huge cabin),
2 more either side and a head and shower each side. Mid Ships
there are steps leading down from the salon/cockpit on each
side, each leading to the 5th and 6th double cabins and another
head & shower each side. Each double cabin has excellent
headroom (over 63"), a good-sized double bed (not
less than 65" long), lots of cupboard space, plenty
of opening ports & hatches and cabin fans
