Other spots to visit from your charter yacht: LeConte outside Petersburg, Tongass National Forest (largest national forest in the United States), Admiralty Island (greatest concentration of Brown Bears in the world) and Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Surrounded by wilderness, the cities of Ketchikan, Wrangle, Petersburg, Sitka and Juneau retain a feeling of historic frontier life and are worth a visit.
