Sail and Hike the Virgin Islands
If you stay on land you miss the water, if you stay on the water don’t miss the land. These vacations offer the best of both worlds. Sailing from island to island on a private yacht allows you to visit many small cays and bays during your week vacation that you can only get to with a boat.
There is plenty to explore from coral reef snorkels to beach and forest walks throughout the Caribbean islands. Your crew know all the interesting adventures and will guide you on the paths or point you in the right direction. Either way, you have some expert guidance to get the most from the nature of the land and sea on these specially selected Caribbean sailing adventures.
Here are just a few of the island hikes or walks you can choose in the Virgin Islands, but all the Caribbean cruising areas have beautiful hikes that your crew know well.
On Tortola, BVI explore Mount Sage National Park or the rugged Ocean Coast ending in the secluded Trunk Bay for a splash.
On Virgin Gorda, BVI, visit the legendary Bath’s where you can climb over giant boulders and splash in pools of ocean water on a refreshing and really fun adventure.
Also try the North Sound Trail of Palms.
Do a couple of strolls on Jost Van Dyke and enjoy a refreshment or two at famous beach bars like Foxy’s, Ivan’s and the Soggy Dollar Bar before dinner on your private yacht.
On St. John, USVI, there are miles of trails winding through the Virgin Islands National Park that covers 3/4 of the island.
There are mellow beach side nature walks and strenuous hikes up mountain trails, so you can match your fitness level and interests.
Our favorite hikes are on the uninhabited outer cays where only Caribbean wildlife abounds.
